Last updated: 11 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Pekahtek Project Limited ("Pekahtek", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data when you visit www.pekahtekproject.com or contact us through this website. We are committed to protecting your privacy in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

Pekahtek Project Limited is a registered civil engineering and construction firm (RC 633266) with its office at Central Home Owners Secretariat, Divine Favour Road, Estate 1, Redemption City of God, Mowe, Ogun State, Nigeria. For any privacy question, contact us at info@pekahtekproject.com or on 08124398127.

What data we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us. When you submit the contact form or the careers form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), the subject or position you select, and the content of your message. We do not ask for, and you should not send, sensitive personal information such as bank details or government identification numbers through these forms.

How we use your data

We use the information you provide only to respond to your enquiry, to consider a job or contract application, and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it to anyone.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting a form to us, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and managing our business relationships. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.

Third parties who process data for us

To run this website and handle messages, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: Brevo (delivers the contact and careers form messages to our inbox), Zoho Mail (hosts our email), Vercel (hosts the website), Supabase (stores the news and blog content), and Google (Search Console and Maps). Each of these providers maintains its own security and privacy safeguards. We do not share your personal data with any other party except where required by law.

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry and application messages only for as long as needed to deal with your request and to keep a reasonable business record, after which they are deleted. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so unless we are required by law to retain it.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function. If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

How we protect your data

The website is served over a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to our systems is limited to authorised people, and our email and hosting providers apply their own security controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to ask us to delete it, and to withdraw your consent to our using it. To exercise any of these rights, email info@pekahtekproject.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. We encourage you to review it occasionally.
